FREE CONSULTATIONWelcome to MINDWISE MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES
At Mindwise Mental Health Services we believe mental health is just as important as physical health. Our psychotherapy services provide a safe, supportive, and confidential space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours with a licensed therapist. Whether you're facing life challenges, struggling with mental health concerns, or seeking personal growth, we’re here to help.
We’re not here to offer one-size-fits-all solutions.
We're here to understand you. At Mindwise, we do things differently:
We blend evidence-based techniques with a holistic understanding of well-being, addressing not just thoughts and emotions, but the mind-body connection, lifestyle, and personal values.
Your background, identity, and life experiences matter. We provide therapy that respects and acknowledges who you are.
Healing happens when you feel heard, seen, and accepted. Here, you don’t have to filter yourself. You can bring your whole self to the process.
Partnering with Bodywise Health & Rehab, we offer a multidisciplinary perspective that bridges mental and physical health, recognizing their deep connection.
Let’s start a conversation about what matters most to you.
Your story, your goals, your journey. We’re here to walk alongside you.
At Mindwise, we believe therapy is about more than just overcoming challenges. It’s about uncovering new possibilities for your life. We provide a welcoming space where you can be yourself, free from judgement, and work toward the life you truly want. Our approach is rooted in client-centered, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive care, ensuring that your unique experiences are honoured as we empower your growth.
We are committed to creating a practice that feels safe and inclusive for everyone. I also recognize the importance of finding the right therapist. If it’s important for you to explore whether our experiences align or differ, I welcome that conversation. And if you ever feel that another therapist might better meet your needs, I am happy to assist in finding the right fit. Your comfort and choice always come first.

Mindwise & Bodywise
Mindwise Mental Health Services is affiliated with Bodywise Health & Rehab, a multidisciplinary clinic dedicated to whole-person care. This means that alongside psychotherapy, you have access to a range of integrative services, including chiropractic care, rehabilitation, and other allied health treatments. If physical pain or tension contributes to your emotional distress, or if stress manifests in your body, our integrated approach allows you to address both mental and physical well-being in one place. We recognize that healing is complex, and we are here to support you with a comprehensive, collaborative approach because your well-being matters.
Life’s challenges can be messy, overwhelming, and sometimes really painful. Whether you’re feeling stuck, struggling in relationships, or just trying to make sense of your emotions, you don’t have to figure it out alone. As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and Chiropractor, I take a whole-person approach to healing-one that honours both your physical and emotional experiences. My style is warm, grounded and real. I provide a supportive space where you can be yourself to help you navigate issues such as stress, anxiety, depression, major life transitions, grief, and relationship challenges. I have a special interest in helping those recovering from intimate partner violence (domestic violence) and those who are dealing with grief and loss, whether its loss of a loved one (pets included!), because of a life change or any other sense of loss that you are feeling.

Devon’s integrative approach draws from Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). EFT supports clients to connect and express their emotions in a conscious and confident way which supports the process and provides lasting positive change in relationships.
Feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or stretched too thin? If you’re balancing the demands of caregiving, parenting, work, or simply trying to keep up with the day to day pressures of life - you’re not alone. Let’s work together to enrich your mental health, build coping strategies and reclaim your wellbeing.
Most people believe trauma must be born from a catastrophic event or experience they’ve encountered; however, traumatic experiences can also be anything that leaves a lasting negative impact in your life that affects your overall mental health.
Psychotherapy is a powerful tool for personal growth, healing, and emotional well-being. It’s a collaborative process where you work with a trained therapist, typically a Registered Psychotherapist (RP), in a safe, supportive environment to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, or simply feeling stuck, psychotherapy helps you gain insight, develop coping strategies, and create meaningful change in your life.

At Mindwise Mental Health Services, we believe therapy should be as unique as you are. Life’s challenges don’t come with a one-size-fits-all solution, and neither should therapy. That’s why we take a personalized, compassionate, and evidence-based approach to help you navigate whatever you're facing.
Your first session involves an initial assessment where we discuss your concerns, goals, and history. Therapy sessions are tailored to your pace and comfort level. Sessions are confidential, non-judgemental, and structured to empower you with coping strategies and insights for positive change.

Trauma isn't just about what happened. It leaves lasting emotional and physical imprints on your body and mind. Whether you are coping with childhood adversity, a recent traumatic event or complex PTSD, we offer trauma-informed care in a space grounded in safety, empowerment, and connection. Together, we work at your pace to help process the thoughts and feelings that are overwhelming you.
Some days feel heavy. You may be withdrawing, losing interest in things you once cared about, or questioning your worth. Therapy can help explore the roots of your struggles, restore emotional balance and help you reconnect with a sense of purpose and direction.
Conflict, disconnection, and old patterns can challenge even our closest relationships. Whether you're facing issues with a partner, navigating parenting stress, or managing family estrangement, we offer a space to understand dynamics, improve communication, and rebuild trust and connection.
Loss, whether through death, separation, or life changes, can be devastating. Grief doesn’t follow a timeline and you don’t need to ‘move on’ before you are ready. Whether you are mourning someone, something or some part of yourself, we support you in honouring your grief, processing your emotions, and moving forward with compassion and meaning, at your own pace.
Transitions, expected or not, can shake our sense of identity and direction. Whether you’re adjusting to a new role, ending a relationship, or entering a new life phase, therapy can help you reflect, recalibrate, and navigate change with greater clarity and intention.
You might seem fine on the outside but feel disconnected or uncertain inside. If you’re struggling with low self-worth or have lost your sense of direction, we help you explore who you are, what you value, and how to live more authentically, with compassion and purpose.
Some patterns, like emotional reactivity, avoidance, or people-pleasing, may once have helped you cope. But over time, they can get in the way. We work with you to understand these habits, uncover their roots, and build more flexible, sustainable ways of responding to life.
Chronic pain and illness affect more than just the body. They can impact mood, identity, and relationships. In collaboration with Bodywise Health & Rehab, our integrative approach supports both physical and emotional well-being, helping you manage pain, reduce stress, and improve your quality of life.
